About Highway 101

Highway 101 has been in business since 2000. Before then, the founding partners had worked in ad agencies large and small, working as copywriters and, later, as Creative Directors. Here and abroad. At some point, we married each other, worked together (by accident) and discovered we could manage this without attempting to kill each other. Highway 101 has been an exciting journey: we have been lucky to always surround ourselves by highly talented people, enjoyed some crazy agency parties and worked with some wonderful clients.

 

Dexter

Today, we remain independent and enjoy our hard-working days with our multi-skilled team and our resident dog and over enthusiastic receptionist, Dexter.

 

 Our clients

We’ve always been proud of our ability to turn our hand to any kind of client or project, although we have spent many years working on the medical, law, financial and franchise industries. Before then, it was cars, travel and everything that came along, including retirement homes and even pet food delivery.

 

 Our days

We have always moved with the times and were among the first to espouse the benefits of social media when most clients reared back in horror at the thought of it becoming part of their marketing program. Ah, how times have changed. Recently, we seem to concentrate on digital and rebranding because that’s what most of our clients want, most of the time and, without wishing to be brash, we’re pretty good at it. We enjoy the process of understanding a business, assessing its strengths and opportunities and then setting the stage for them to grow and become more successful. It’s very satisfying to be involved, whether it’s a name change, new brand identity, new website, new messaging, new advertising campaign or, typically, all of these elements.

 

 What are we like?

Primarily, we’d like to be seen as professionals, who take their job (and your business) seriously. We are straight – talking, occasionally funny, and honest to a fault. Most importantly, we enjoy what we do and don’t take ourselves too seriously. What you won’t find is any attitude or prima donnas. We are straight-talking, no-nonsense professionals who love what we do and enjoy helping our clients become more successful and, hopefully, enjoy their journey along the way.
